In 2025 I got the opportunity to propose a comprehensive rebrand to Jones County High School Athletics.

The Challenge

The current branding lacked consistency among all touchpoints. We wanted to build off the existing branding and create something more cutting edge for the athletics department.

The Solution

We completely re-built the monogram mark, giving it a more chiseled apperance to embody the hard-working community of JC. We then reimagined the Hound Mark, making the edges more defined and sharp to give it more movement. The goal was to say any from typical running greyhound imagery seen on the internet. We then took the head of the greyhound and created a sub-mark for more compressed, responsive purposes. Additionally, a custom typeface and numerals called ‘JC Houndstooth’ was built for the rebrand. It is distinctly ownable and identifiable to the JC brand.
